Wentworth Shire Council is proud to announce the official details for the Wentworth Flood Rally (70 Years On). From Friday 5 June to Sunday 7 June 2026, we invite the community and visitors to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the historic 1956 Murray–Darling Flood.
This event is a tribute to the “Little Grey Fergie” (Ferguson TEA20) tractors and the incredible community spirit that saved our township.
Weekend Program Highlights:
-
Friday, 5 June: Roll in Tractor Trek. The journey begins as participants trek from Red Cliffs to Wentworth.
-
Saturday, 6 June: 70km Tractor Trek. A convoy of vintage machinery will travel through the region, marking the areas where floodwaters once threatened the district.
-
Sunday, 7 June: Australian Record Attempt & Street Parade. We are aiming to break the Australian record for the largest assembly of Ferguson TEA20 tractors! The day concludes with a street parade, historic displays, and markets at the Wharf Precinct.
